Julie Cenci

Julie graduated with her associates from Lehigh Carbon Community College where she served as the President of the Psychology Club.  She received recognition for her leadership abilities in the Psychology Club. She is a member of Psi Beta and Phi Theta Kappa.  She graduated magna cum laude and was bestowed the Professor Elizabeth (Bette) Hummer Memorial Award. Julie is an All-Pennsylvania Academic Team member.  She is the recipient of a PASSHE tuition scholarship and will be attending Kutztown University in the fall.  Aside from her academic success, she has a wonderful husband and two children, her daughter is a junior in college and her son is in 6th grade.  She plans to enter a graduate program upon completion of her bachelor’s degree.

Theresa Lavery

Theresa was a dedicated member of Psi Beta at Irvine Valley College where she recently completed her transfer curriculum with honors.  She is now a third-year undergraduate at the University of California at Irvine, pursuing a degree in Psychology and Social Behavior. Her interests in psychology vary widely but she is particularly interested in studying memory processes in both infants and adults. In addition to her studies, Theresa is currently assisting with research in the UCI Memory & Development Lab and plans to pursue a graduate degree.  During her free time, she enjoys relaxing with family and friends, reading, traveling, and gardening. She and her husband are proud of the three children they have raised and cherish most the time spent with them.
