Psi Beta Events Scheduled for Western Psychological Association Conference

Looking forward to seeing you and your students at the 95th annual Western Psychological Association Conference in Long Beach, California on April 28th – May 1st . See for all the details, including a student guide to the convention, programming, and a letter of support for students who need to show the importance of attending to employers, families etc. There are wonderful opportunities for you and your students to hear cutting edge research, attend film presentations, network during poster presentations, and engage in professional and career development. In particular, please see that our very own Executive Director, Dr. Jerry Rudmann will be hosting a session on Service learning projects that give psychology away and promote learning on Sunday, May 1st 8:30-9:30am!

There are a total of 29 Psi Beta posters, representing 8 chapters, accepted for presentation on Friday, April 29th at an 8am session and a separate 11am session. Presenting research at a professional conference is an outstanding accomplishment for students and we look forward to supporting them. Also, please come by the Psi Beta Chapter Exchange on Saturday April 30th 3-4pm to meet Psi Beta chapters. We will also have a speed research presentation; students will have 2 minutes to present their research to the group. If you would like to present, please contact Dr. Kimberley Duff at to confirm your participation ahead of time, so that we can schedule accordingly.

Dr. Kimberley Duff, VP Western Region
