ARC Psi Beta would like to recognize the academic achievements of our chapter’s members in the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 semesters. These members have demonstrated excellence in various aspects of academia. Below are some of our members and the respective awards and honors that they have earned.

  • Fatima Zardkoohi – Highest Honors for Fall 2015 and Spring 2016
  • Julio Luis Gopez – Highest Honors for Fall 2015
    • 2016 Honors Research Scholar of the Bay Honors Consortium
  • Kristy Taylor – Highest Honors for Spring 2016
  • Muhammad Shahbaz – Highest Honors for Fall 2015
    • 2016 Honors Research Scholar of the Bay Honors Consortium
  • Shana Watkins-Haggins – Honors for Fall 2015
  • Victoria Lane – President’s Highest Honors for Fall 2016
    • 2016 Northern California Laborer’s Scholarship

* Each semester, students can earn Academic Honors at American River College by completing at least 12 semester units – 9 of which are graded on letter grade basis – with a minimum semester GPA of 3.0. Highest Honors is earned through fulfilling the requirements for Academic Honors and achieving a 3.5 minimum semester GPA.

We want to acknowledge the achievements of all our members! If you have earned any awards or honors and would like to be recognized, please contact me (your advisor) with the details. We will acknowledge you in a later newsletter!
