Psi Beta Programs at the Association for Psychological Science Conference this May!

Psi Beta is once again gearing up for our participation at the 27th Annual Convention of the Association for Psychological Science (APS), which will be held at the New York Marriott Marquis, May 21st – 24th, 2015. We have two students who have poster presentations, both of TCI College in New York and working under our Eastern Region Vice President Samvel Jeshmaridian: Gordon Raymond will present on REBT, and Shandra Grantham-Powell will present on Teaching Children with Autism.

The highlight of our presence at APS this year is our Carol Tracy Distinguished Lecturer. We are honored to have Dr. Regan Gurung as our distinguished speaker. Dr. Gurung is the Ben J. & Joyce Rosenberg Professor of Human Development and Psychology at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, and his talk is titled Levering the Science of Learning: Engaging, Effective, & Efficient Pedagogical Practices.

Representing Psi Beta’s National Council will be Past-President Melanie Arpaio and current Eastern Region Vice President Samvel Jeshmaridian. Please contact Melanie for further information about APS programming for Psi Beta, or if you are interested in a Psi Beta meet-and-greet at APS.
