Psi Beta Chapter Websites are Ready!

Great news! Psi Beta has officially launched the free Psi Beta chapter website program. A website template will be available to each chapter to use as a template for customizing your very own Psi Beta chapter website. Customization is easy and written step-by-step instructions and training videos will be provided upon sign-up.

If your chapter is interested in signing up the chapter advisor should email Jenelle Welz. Your college will then receive a response with the terms and agreement forms. Please read and return the forms to the same email address (Jenelle Welz). Each chapter will be placed on a website launch list; colleges will be launched every two weeks. Sign-ups will be handled on a first come first serve basis. When your forms are received your college will be provided with an estimated launch date.

If your chapter is interested in setting up a customized chapter website we encourage you to discuss the following items at your next Psi Beta meeting:

  • Discuss this opportunity with your chapter advisor.
  • Determine if your chapter would like to customize a website for your Psi Beta chapter, and email Jenelle Welz if interested in signing up.
  • The chapter can elect a student editor who can work with the chapter historian, photographer, and other officers to decide what to include on the chapter website.
  • The student editor should be a good writer. A person who knows about and uses the spell checking feature provided by word processers.

It is recommended that your chapter elects two student editors who are at least one year apart in projected graduation dates, so you continue to have someone in your chapter who knows how to edit your site at all times. Please refrain from having more than two editors of the website as this will help with technical troubleshooting should you need it.

Assigning jobs and gathering chapter photos, meeting minutes, and any other information you would like to share about your chapter will get your chapter off to a great start when building your website.
