McGraw-Hill Education Partners with Psi Beta National Honor Society to Create Annual Regional Achievement Awards for Students and Advisors

Psi Beta’s mission is to encourage professional development and psychological literacy of all students at two-year colleges through promotion and recognition of excellence in scholarship, leadership, research, and community service.  In order to better serve Psi Beta members and advisors, we have partnered with McGraw-Hill Education to create annual achievement awards which will be presented to one student and one faculty advisor (winner) at the 5 annual APA regional psychology conferences during the 2018-2020 academic years.

Regional achievement awards will be presented by McGraw-Hill Representatives and Regional VPs at regional APA psychology conferences.  The date/time of the award reception will be announced by the Regional VPs.  Applications and deadlines for these awards can be found on the Psi Beta National Website.

Each winner will receive a certificate and a check for $150.

These new awards are meant to encourage regional conference participation. One of the most incredible experiences as a Psi Beta member or advisor is attending your regional psychology conference and networking with other members and psychology enthusiasts that share the same interests as you do!  Speakers, workshops, and poster sessions are just a few of the events highlighted at regional conferences.
