Summit on National Assessment of Psychology (SNAP)

In June 2016, APA will convene a Summit on National Assessment of Psychology (APA SNAP) at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay to bring together experts in educational assessment in undergraduate psychology. APA SNAP participants will begin the process of building a collection of digital and/or print resources to assist psychology departments at both the associate and baccalaureate levels in optimally assessing their programs. Three members of the Psi Beta National Council were honored by being chosen to participate in this important conference: Bryan Gerber (MW Vice President), Katherine Wickes (Past-President), Katheen Hughes (President), and Jerry Rudmann (Director).

Psi Beta advisors and active Psi Beta members realize how learning is promoted by participation in extra-curricular activities related to Psi Beta’s mission of leadership, community service, service learning, and research. We are hopeful that SNAP conference will result in some ways to systematically assess Psi Beta’s positive impact on student learning.
