The 98th annual convention of the WPA April 26th – April 29th, 2018 will take place in Portland, Oregon. Come and network with faculty, fellow advisors and students. This conference is always great for meeting new people and connecting with old friends.

The program includes poster, paper symposium sessions, statistics workshops, special programs for students and teachers and the WPA Film Festival. The distinguished speakers will include Sarah Bowen, Troy Campbell, Thomas J Doherty, Jennifer Freyd, Howard Friedman, Phillip Holcomb, Robert M Kaplan, Shari Young Kuchenbecker, Eric Landrum, Steve Lindsay, Elizabeth Loftus, Ksenija Marinekovic, Christina Maslach, Brian McNeill, Allen Omoto, William Todd Schultz, and Philip Zimbardo, with more to be announced on the WPA website.

Psi Beta students will present their research during a poster session that takes place during Poster Session 14 on Saturday, April 28th from 8 to 9:30 AM in the Exhibit Hall. Psi Beta has been assigned poster boards 41 to 60. Please come and support these outstanding students researchers.

There will be a Psi Beta Chapter Exchange that takes place on Saturday from 3 to 4:30 pm in Salon C. please plan on attending to meet with other students and share what your chapter has been working on throughout the year!

Don’t miss the Psi Beta Symposium on Community College Teaching Excellence – Saturday April 28, 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm, Salon C. These events are always fun and informative for both students and faculty! Please consult the WPA program for final details on the location and time of these events.
