Student Research Posters at APA Convention in August!

Call for Posters – Submission deadline is July 20, 2010. Psi Beta is sponsoring a student research poster session during the American Psychological Association Conference in San Diego this coming August!!! APA has confirmed the day for the poster session: August 14th. The poster session will be in Exhibit Hall ABC in the San Diego Convention Center from 3 to 3:50 PM. Presenting a poster at a national convention is a great thing to put on one’s resume!
To apply, please email the following information to Jerry Rudmann at jrudmann@ivc.edu:
1. Your name
2. Name of college and professor
3. Poster title
4. Abstract (100 to 120 words)
5. Contact information (email address)

Note: Besides student research papers, “chapter posters” depicting a chapter’s activities that
parallel the Psi Beta mission statement (see below) are highly encouraged. Submit applications
to present a chapter poster through the same email as above.
Psi Beta’s Mission: To promote professional development of psychology students in two-year colleges through promotion and recognition of excellence in scholarship, leadership, research, and community service.
