Faculty Advisor Award Application

A current Psi Beta member can use this form to nominate his or her chapter's Psi Beta advisor for the Virginia S. Sexton National Faculty Advisor award.
  • The nominee must have been a chapter advisor for at least 2 years. He or she cannot be currently serving on the Psi Beta National Council. The chapter must be active and in good standing with the National Organization. Only a chapter can nominate an advisor - the person completing this form is representing the entire chapter.
  • In the event our judges select your nominee, we will notify your advisor by sending an announcement email to him or her.
  • We want to know who is submitting this nomination.
  • Please provide the email address you access most often. We will use your email to let you know whether or not our judges selected your nominee for the advisor-of-the-year award.
  • If you are not sure, check your college website or catalog.
  • If your nominee wins, we will notify the college president with the good new! If you are not sure, check your college website or catalog for the President's email address.
  • In the textbox below, please provide a narrative that includes your advisor's contributions to Psi Beta at the chapter, state, regional, and/or national levels.*

    Please upload a 1 page PDF file describing why you are nominating your advisor for the Psi Beta Advisor of the Year award. Your narrative can include your advisor's contributions to your members, your chapter, your college, and any other contributions your advisor had made at local, state, regional, and/or national levels.
