Psi Beta National Research Study for 2020-2021 – Data-Gathering Deadline Extended to February 1, 2021!!!

Psi Beta has extended the data-gathering deadline to February 1, 2021, so there is still time for your chapter to participate.  This year’s study investigates factors associated with appreciation and gratitude and the possible differences between those two psychological constructs. For more information about the research study, visit https://psibeta.org/national-research-project-2020-2021/

As of December 8, over 648 students had participated in this year’s national study. Most of the participants, so far, are from these chapters: Bakersfield College (239), Paradise Valley (51), Palomar (32), College of Western Idaho (82), Irvine Valley (33), South Texas College (119), San Diego Mesa (19), and Orange Coast College (48).

Jerry Rudmann, Executive Director, will present a Zoom cast on February 15, 2021, to help chapter members prepare and analyze the data. Topics will include downloading, cleansing, reverse coding, and exploring the dataset. Advisors and Chapter Delegates of participating chapters will be contacted in early February and given log-in information. NOTE: Even if your chapter did not participate in the data collection phase, all chapters are invited to download and analyze the research file.
