Psi Beta President’s Report
By Todd Joseph
Psi Beta National President
Hello Friends,
It is a very exciting time at Psi Beta, and I am so happy that you are a part of it. This newsletter is full of a lot of important information, including interesting summaries of some of the things our Psi Beta family has been involved in. We have stories about our search for a new Executive Director (good luck in retirement, Jerry; you have been an inspiration to us all), our Psi Beta awards and scholarships, regional conferences, our amazing Psi Beta research journal, our upcoming National Virtual Psychology Summit (it is on May 5th; you are all invited!), and much more. At the end of our newsletter, we are sharing chapter reports from some of the Psi Beta chapters around the country. I always love reading them because it gives me ideas for cool things to do with my local chapter.
Well, I don’t want to distract you from all the cool stuff in this issue, so I will end by encouraging you to take advantage of the opportunities that membership in Psi Beta affords you, and to encourage your friends to take advantage also. …and don’t forget, we always love to hear what our chapters are doing, so post about your events on social media (Instagram: @PsiBetaNational Facebook: PsiBetaNational) to give the rest of us ideas! See you at the National Psychology Summit!
Respectfully,
Todd Joseph
PS – Do not forget that all Psi Beta members get a free 1-year student membership to the American Psychological Association. You can get it here: https://pages.apa.org/psi-beta-app
